Robert Parker’s Wine Buyer’s Guide recommends Israeli wine

Those who follow me on Twitter @hakerem will know that Robert Parker released his annual guide to wine, Parker’s Wine Buyers Guide, 7th Edition, in early October. Parker’s guide is a list of some of the world’s best wines (at least according to Robert Parker and his team). Yet, there was something new: Israel was included for the first time.
This influential guide dedicates about as much space to Israeli wine as it does to well-known wine regions like Chile, South Africa, New Zealand, and Central Europe. Actually, it devotes more space to Israeli wines than South Africa!
My contacts in the wine industry tell me that, as a result, Israeli wine is finally getting the attention that it deserves … maybe even that’s how you found this blog. But, either way, if you like wine, explore Robert Parker and Mark Squires’ recommendations in the new Parker Wine Buyers Guide.
